2030 GOALS

SYNOPSIS is the Erasmus+ project to define a new professional role: the digital storyteller and fundraiser for the Cultural Heritage.

Cultural heritage is a key sector for Europe, both as an economic engine and as a magnet for tourism. Today, however, Cultural Heritage faces new challenges, from the reduction of funding for culture to the need to adapt languages and tools to new digital technologies.

To meet these challenges, the SYNOPSIS project was created, led by the Royal Museums of Turin, with the aim of foster the implementation of courses and workshops aimed at developing three areas of expertise:

  • storytelling, the indispensable skill for audience engagement
  • fundraising, the indispensable skill for the sustainability of cultural organizations
  • digital, the essential skill to effectively use new communication tools.

Among the actions developed during the project, Sineglossa oversaw the production of the Digital Fundraiser & Storyteller skills framework, a guide to technical and soft skills for training the new professional figure of the digital fundraiser and storyteller.
