WeSTEAM Skills framework

What is

A reference framework for strengthening and assessing women STEM students’ Art Thinking capacity. In this document you will find:

  1. Methodology: a brief overview of the steps that led to the creation of the framework
  2. Casebook: a collection of best practices implemented at the European level in STEAM education field
  3. Creative process: a comparison of the creative process as seen by artists and scientists, respectively
  4. Skills framework: the framework of phases, actions and skills that characterize a STEAM creative process.

Who it is designed for

  • Educational organizations (universities and informal education centers) to innovate their activities with some inspirational case studies and  
  • Female students, to gain awareness of the skills they need to enhance in order to complement their curricula according to a STEAM approach.
