What is
AI Compass for Cultural Heritage. Reflections for the Conscious Adoption of Generative AI is a research project carried out by the University of Turin and Sineglossa which explores the relationship between cultural institutions and generative artificial intelligence, offering a strategic compass for museums, archives, and libraries seeking to navigate expectations, opportunities, and risks associated with the adoption of generative AI.
The report is based on a qualitative study that combines interviews with professionals working in the cultural sector and an analysis of case studies of projects already using artificial intelligence to enhance cultural heritage.
