What it is
These Policy Recommendations have been developed by Luca Baraldi, Sineglossa’s policy advisor, in the context of Machines for good European project. The recommendations include:
- A methodological reframing of artificial Intelligence and policy-making
- Evolution of the methodologies used for policy-making processes
- Epistemological remarks
- Policy Recommendations
- Tips on how to use AI to empower policymakers and stakeholders in increasing public engagement
Who it is designed for
- Policymakers interested in finding tools and methodologies to adapt to AI-induced cultural challenges, to address societal issues, AI, and arts in citizen engagement
- Stakeholders (cultural organisations, training institutions, and scientific research centres) who are interested in understanding how artificial intelligence can be a tool for civic engagement and collaboration in the digital era

MACHINES FOR GOOD is an initiative led by Sineglossa, in collaboration with Baltan Laboratories (Netherlands), Ohme (Belgium), FZC – Fundacion Zaragoza Ciudad de Conocimiento (Spain), co-funded by the European Union under the CERV programme. This acronym stands for ‘Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values’: it is a programme launched in 2021 by the European Union and will last seven years, until 2027. It aims to support and develop open, democratic, equal and inclusive societies, based on the rule of law, encouraging the democratic, civic and social participation of people and cultivating the individual specificities of European cultures, based on common values, history and memory.
