IAQOS Ancona: data and transparency

Andrea Baldrati explains how Privacy Network partnered with Sineglossa to manage data collection through IAQOS the deeplearning algorithm that aims to be a spokesperson for new urban visions.

Specifically, it is an online game (and offline in the city of Ancona), which allows users, at the outcome of a guided procedure, to submit a “dream” for the city, which is then also posted on the project website.

The first audits served to understand the purpose of the IAQOS project and thus the goal that the Sineglossa Owner wanted to achieve once the data subjects’ data were acquired.
The lengthy meetings served to define the overall scheme of data processing, which was ultimately divided into 3 phases:

  • DATA COLLECTION
  • DATA PROCESSING BY IAQOS
  • PROCESSING FOR NEWSLETTER PURPOSES
