Be Your Hero is the first campus for the life skills of teenagers. As stated in the national guidelines of the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research:
“The skills developed within the individual disciplines in turn contribute to the promotion of broader and transversal skills, which represent an essential condition for full personal fulfillment and for active participation in social life, oriented towards the values of civil coexistence and the common good”
Educating teenagers to life skills therefore means preparing them for adult life, both from a professional and a human point of view.

Practical experience: Sport Skill and Art Skill
Life skills cannot be taught: they have to be experienced. This is why the Be Your Hero project proposes two different training courses, each based on a practical activity:
- the sports experience with Art du Deplacement (ADD)
- the creative experience with contemporary art.
During a course aimed at overcoming urban obstacles or creating a work of art, youths learn in an experiential way how to relate to the unknown, to the failures and to other people, drawing on their life skills.
The shared thought
The life skills training course takes the form of a layered game: the participants are guided in an exchange of statements on what they have observed in themselves and in others, with the aim of gradually conquering all the archetypes, i.e. the life skills on which the training course acts.
