Salaborsa, Bologna
𝙉𝙀𝘼𝙍 + 𝙁𝙐𝙏𝙐𝙍𝙀𝙎 + 𝙌𝙐𝘼𝙎𝙄 + 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿𝙎 is the opening conference and title of the group exhibition celebrating the first 7 years of STARTS, a European Commission initiative that promotes synergies between science, technology and art.
The goal is to reflect on the tools, behaviors, and strategies that encourage hybridization between art and different spheres of society, to return to imagining a possible post-carbon and post-anthropocene future.
Federico Bomba, director of Sineglossa, will moderate along with Nicoletta Tranquillo, co-founder of Kilowatt, the speeches by:
- Anna Lisa Boni, Bologna City Councillor for European funding/PNRR, ecological transition and international relations
- Antonio Navarra, president of the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) Foundation and professor Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna
- Patrizia Toia, Europarliamentarian for the Democratic Party and vice chairwoman of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy
- Roberto Paura, Co-founder and president of the Italian Institute for the Future, expert in futures studies
- Manuel Cirauqui, curator of the NEAR+FUTURES+QUASI+WORLDS exhibition.
- Giulia Tomasello, interaction designer
- Luca Baraldi, corporate identity manager Ammagamma, a Modenese company formed by mathematicians, engineers, computer scientists, philosophers and designers, specializing in Artificial Intelligence
- Matteo Lepore, mayor of Bologna, who will officially open the exhibition at the end of the meeting
