It is designed to help trainers <\/span><b>integrate coastal sustainability into vocational and community-based learning<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in a practical, inclusive, and grounded way &#8211; <\/span><b>combining ecological, social, and economic perspectives.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It builds on key EU reference frameworks including the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sdgs.un.org\/goals\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UN Sustainable Development Goals<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/new-european-bauhaus.europa.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New European Bauhaus<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/publications.jrc.ec.europa.eu\/repository\/handle\/JRC128040\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GreenComp<\/span><\/a><span of traditional maritime activities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the pressures and opportunities of <\/span><b>expanding tourism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the growing impacts of <\/span><b>climate change<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2014 from sea-level rise to biodiversity loss. These are not abstract problems. They shape the daily lives and livelihoods of the people who live and work by the sea.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And yet, as trainers working in these contexts told us:<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d9c4afb elementor-blockquote--align-left elementor-blockquote--skin-border elementor-widget elementor-widget-blockquote\" data-id=\"d9c4afb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"blockquote.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"elementor-blockquote\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-blockquote__content\">\n\t\t\t\t\"Unless you have a marine biologist as a teacher, these topics rarely come up in school. working across disciplines and with local stakeholders<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Imagination<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; envisioning alternative futures and challenging existing assumptions<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Experimentation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; turning ideas into action through structured trial, reflection, and iteration.<br \/><\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like EDUS, the framework offers <\/span><b>three progressive competence levels<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211;
