style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An event that the research centre proposes to <\/span><b>open up to the public topics <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">concerning the application and development of Widening our gaze to the European horizon, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/culture.ec.europa.eu\/document\/a-new-european-agenda-for-culture-swd2018-267-final\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">European Commission&#8217;s European Agenda for Culture<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> outlines the need for a vision of culture that creates <\/span><b>welfare<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, reinforces European values and <\/span><b>democracy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, rethinks our communities, and makes us economically competitive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>Authorship<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is increasingly a feature of the creative process shared between humans and machines, with a view to collaboration and <\/span><b>co-participation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the artistic process. Using a generative AI model, these models interact with the audience in real-time, playfully blurring truth by generating hallucinations, confabulations, and rumors. This project highlights the <strong>tendency of large-scale linguistic models to produce disinformation<\/strong>.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the front of community participation and involvement, we conducted a series of workshops in Italy and other European educational and cultural centres, through the partnership of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sineglossa.it\/en\/projects\/machines-for-good\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Machines for Good<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project, and collected guidelines on how to exploit the potential of artificial intelligence for the activation of the people and citizens.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On <\/span><b>22 March<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, we will present the results of this workshop online: <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0e0c625 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget-mobile__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-button\" data-id=\"0e0c625\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"button.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-button elementor-button-link elementor-size-lg\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.be\/e\/machines-for-good-tickets-851029621507\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-button-content-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-button-text\">Sing up for the webinar on IA and citizen engagement<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f2f2e6e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f2f2e6e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The relationship of artificial intelligence with personal memories is instead the theme investigated by <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Argo<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the exhibition project by artist <\/span><b>Paolo Bufalini<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, curated by Sineglossa and winner of SIAE&#8217;s Per Chi Crea competition. The final work will be inaugurated in the autumn, which is a reflection on the concepts of <\/span><b>memory and identity and the way Artificial Intelligence redefines our way of conceiving them<\/b>.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, <\/span><b>publishing and journalism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is an area where artificial intelligence seems to have become a key player: between Automatic Journalism, NLG Journalism (which uses natural language generation algorithms), and the adoption of various AI-based technologies and methods to optimise various elements of the journalistic process, newsrooms are realising the limits of how to use I from production to news gathering and distribution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sineglossa is addressing this issue in its <\/span><b>new editorial platform <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/mangrovia.info\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mangrovia<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a digital newspaper that has been collecting and telling other stories about culture, technology and society through articles, podcasts and newsletters for the past month. Also integrated into the editorial workflow is a customised version, developed specifically for the project, of the <\/span><b>artificial intelligence Asimov<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a <\/span><b>trend<\/b> <b>scouting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tool from the Italian company <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.asc27.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Asc27<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which supports the Mangrovia editorial team in identifying
