As Italian writer Italo Calvino noted, the human being understands &#8216;how to disassemble and reassemble the most complicated and most unpredictable of all his machines: language&#8217; (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cibernetica e Fantasmi<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, 1967-68).<\/span><\/p><p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, what happens when language disassembled by artificial intelligence meets poetic writing through its authors?<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sineglossa, in collaboration with the poetry festival <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lapuntadellalingua.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La punta della Lingua<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, attempts to answer this question with an exhibition that will be held in Recanati from <\/span><b>15 to 30 December 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and a <\/span><b>poetry competition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that will be open from <\/span><b>30 October to 3 December 2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The aim: to explore the world of poetry produced <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">with<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> artificial intelligence, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> artificial intelligence, and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">about<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> artificial intelligence.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The competition and the exhibition <\/span><b>CIBERNETICA E FANTASMI <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are supported by the Marche Region &#8211; Department of Culture.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8045da2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8045da2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><b>To whom it is addressed<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a700e0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4a700e0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The competition aims to get to know, promote and support new methods of poetic production and experimentation in which artificial intelligence enters the writing process as creative partners or co-authors, but poems written entirely by human beings, with artificial intelligence as a theme, are also accepted. The call is open to anyone, aged 18 or under, whether they already have a track record in the field of poetry writing or want to experiment with collaboration with artificial intelligence for the first time.\u00a0<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Poems in any language are accepted, provided that, in the case of languages other than Italian, subtitles are also submitted.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f5e6b47 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f5e6b47\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><b>Prize and award ceremony<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b3c85c1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b3c85c1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The competition has <strong>only one winning poem<\/strong>. Its author or author will receive a purchase voucher to the value of \u20ac500, at a physical or digital point of sale of their choice. More details will be provided to the winner. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The shortlist of finalist poems will be announced by 6 December. The winning poem will be announced on the 15th of December, in the setting of the <\/span><b>CIBERNETICA E FANTASMI<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> exhibition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d993ab3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d993ab3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><b>How to participate<\/b><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b0cf61b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b0cf61b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each author can submit <\/span><b>only one poem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, of a maximum of 40 lines, accompanied by a text <\/span><b>describing the creation process<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, of 1000 characters including spaces.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participation in the competition requires the payment of an <\/span><b>entry fee of 5\u20ac<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> per poem.
