2030 GOALS
As the National Directions of the Ministry of Education, University and Research state:
“The skills developed within individual disciplines contribute in turn to the promotion of broader and transversal skills, which are an essential condition for full personal fulfillment and active participation in social life, oriented to the values of civil coexistence and the common good.”
Educating teenagers in life skills therefore means preparing them for adult life, both professionally and humanly.
The practical experience: SPORTSKILLS and ARTSKILLS
Life skills cannot be teach: must be experienced. Be Your Hero training courses offer two types of practical activities:
- the sports experience of the Art du Deplacement (ADD)
- the creative experience of contemporary art
During a course aimed at overcoming urban obstacles or creating a work of art, girls and boys discover experientially how to relate to the unknown, defeat and other people, drawing on their life skills to make new discoveries and collaborate toward a common goal.
Shared reflection: THE ARCHETYPES
The life skills training course consists of a layered game: girls and boys are led in an exchange of testimonies about what they have observed in itself e in the others, with the aim of gradually conquer all archetypes, namely the life skills on which the training course acts.
The process of life skills awareness and reinforcement thus provides an opportunity to experience both a self-assessment and peer-to-peer assessment practice, stimulating participants to become aware of their own abilities while looking at themselves through the eyes of others.
